This is the exact skincare routine I have been following every night. These are the products I genuinly use and repurchase.
After trying plenty of skincare products, I have finally found a simple nighttime routine that works well for my skin and it is very easy for me to follow the steps. Let’s be realistic, nobody is doing a 20-step routine and probably sleeping without doing anything, and we do not want that.
I do not use a 10-step routine- instead, I stick to a few products that help keep my skin feeling clean, hydrated, and healthy. In this post, I am sharing exactly what I use every night (might add a bonus product in the end) in the order I apply each product.
Skincare is all about trial and error, and what works for one person may not work for someone else. This routine works well for me, but everyone’s skin is different. I have combination skin, and once I find products that my skin loves, I rarely switch them out. If you’re looking for a simple and realistic nighttime routine, I hope this gives you some inspiration!
This routine includes products from CeraVe, Dot & Key, COSRX, and The Ordinary that I’ve found effective for keeping my combination skin clean and hydrated.
My Night Skincare Routine: 6 Products I Swear By

1. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser

I have been using this same facewash from last 5 years and it does wonders for my skin. You know how it feels? It feels like every single dirt/oil has been swept away from my face and it feels so refreshing. It is very gentle and it dries your skin to the correct amount( if you know, you know!).
2. Dot & Key Hydrating Toner

This toner is so hydrating and prepares skin for rest of the steps. Adding a toner to my skincare routine has become a very important step which anyone should not skip.
3. Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

I have heard so many positive reviews about this product and I was always intrigued by the ingredients, so I decided to give it a try and the reviews were not wrong I will say for sure. There is some magic in it which I am not aware of that works wonders honestly.
4. The Ordinary Caffeine Serum

Definately need an eye serum/cream for your nighttime skincare routine because of the late night netflix and gossip session and this product might be the one. It helps with the puffiness under the eyes and makes it look smoother, firmer-looking eye countour.
5. DOT & KEY 72HR Hydrating Gel Moisturiser

Trust me on this when I say it, this is my second tub already. I have used multiple moisturisers and I have never loved any moisturiser that quickly. This is very light-weight moisturiser which hydrates your skin like a magic. It does not feel sticky or too much on your skin and just does wonders.
6. Laneige Lip Glowy Balm

I have so many memories with this lip balm as I have been using this from last 6 years and I cannot get over it. Started using during my university days and it is just amazing. I do not have to re-apply my lipbalm every 20 minutes as this moisturises your lips amazingly. I will also be adding the link for the tinted lip balm just in case it is needed as well.
BONUS PRODUCT: La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF50+ Sunscreen

This is a nighttime skincare blog but I had to add this product here. I cannot stop talking about this sunscreen. It is lightweight, SPF 50+, its not sticky, fragrance free and I can go on and on about this product. Sunscreen is a very important step of the morning skincare and NOBODY should step out of the house before applying it. I have been using this exact sunscreen from last 5 years and this is absolutely an amazing product that nobody should miss. Must try it and thank me later.
CONCLUSION
That’s my complete nighttime skincare routine! I love that it’s simple, effective, and easy to stick to every evening. While everyone’s skin is different, these are the products that work well for me and have become staples in my routine. If you have any favourite nighttime skincare products, I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
